Cookie Policy

Last updated: 1 September 2026

The short version

BandHQ uses only cookies and browser storage that are strictly necessary to sign you in and run the app securely. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers. Our marketing site counts page views, but it does so without cookies and without storing anything on your device — see below. Because nothing we set is non-essential, none of it requires a consent banner under PECR — but we believe you should know exactly what's there, so here's the full list.

Cookies the marketing site sets

The public marketing site sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing on your device. Its forms post directly to our own servers.

It does count page views, using Vercel — the company that hosts BandHQ — and the measurement is deliberately the quiet kind. It sets no cookie, writes nothing to your browser, and is served from our own domain rather than a third-party host, so no request for it ever leaves for someone else's server. What it produces is a count: which page, which page referred you, which country, and what kind of device. It cannot identify you, it does not follow you to other websites, and it does not record what you do on the page.

Because it stores and reads nothing on your device, PECR's consent rule — which is about storage and access on your equipment — is not engaged. We rely on legitimate interests for the processing itself, and you can object.

What we don't do

  • No advertising or retargeting cookies.
  • No cross-site or social-media tracking pixels.
  • No session-recording, heatmap or replay tools.
  • No analytics that identifies you, profiles you, or follows you between sites.
  • No selling of any data these cookies touch.

Managing cookies

Because our cookies are strictly necessary, blocking them will stop you signing in or using core features. You can still control cookies through your browser settings — most browsers let you see, block or delete cookies per site. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.

Changes and contact

We'll update this policy if what we set changes, and note the “last updated” date. Questions: privacy@usebandhq.com. See also our Privacy Policy.
