Setting a band up takes one evening, and most of that is typing in names.
Create the band
Sign up with an email address and a password, then choose Create your band. You are the first admin.
The band arrives with the 18 brass sections already in place — soprano through to percussion — and a General chat channel. There is nothing to configure before you can use it.
Invite the players
Go to Roster and invite someone. You get a link to copy, and you send it however you already talk to your band: WhatsApp, email, read out at the end of a rehearsal.
They open the link, set their own password, and fill in their own instrument and section. That matters more than it sounds — you are not typing thirty instruments in yourself, and the details stay right because the person who knows them entered them.
Until someone accepts, they sit on the roster as invited. Once they accept, they turn active.
There is no spreadsheet import
There genuinely isn't one, and we would rather say so than have you go looking. Typing in a roster is a one-off evening. Everything after it — who is available, who is covering the front row, who has actually read the message — is the part a spreadsheet was never going to do for you.
Put one rehearsal in, invite the players, and see whether the replies come back faster than they do now.
